Peach Cobbler / Fruit Pie

This wonderful peach cobbler recipe came from my husbands grandmother (on his dad's side). It is so yummy.

Peach Cobbler

  • 1 cup sliced peaches
  • 1 cup bisquick
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk

Melt oleo. Mix all ingredients and pour into baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.


Here is another one you can use.

Quick fruit pie

  • 1/2 cup flour (self rising)
  • 1/2 cup sweet milk
  • butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups fruit (cooked)
Mix flour and sugar thoroughly. Then add milk gradually, stirring. Place in buttered casserole. Add fruit. Dot with pats of butter. Bake at 350 degree for 30 - 35 minutes (middle rack). If fresh fruit is used, cook it first; sweeten to taste. Just add 1/2 cup water to start boiling and then cook until done.
